The antiviral, virucidal, and antioxidant activities of extracts from three plants of the Brazilian Pampa biome (Mimosa bimucronata, Luehea divaricata, and Schinus terebinthifolia), as well as the antiviral and virucidal effects of their major flavonoids, were investigated against Bovine Herpesvirus type 1 (BoHV-1) and Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV). CONCLUSIONS: Oculomotor metrics recorded during a working memory task are associated with cognitive, retinal, and functional measures in pwMS, supporting their potential as noninvasive biomarkers to complement standard clinical assessments in detecting cognitive dysfunction.

NIH Stroke Scale and age predict early post-stroke cognitive impairment

CONCLUSION: Consistent with prior work, NIH Stroke Scale and age emerged as the most robust predictors of early PSCI. Length of stay, discharge disposition, and race were associated with early PSCI in univariable analyses and warrant further evaluation in larger prospective studies.
