International expert consensus recommendations on standardised nomenclature of SSA/Ro (TROVE2/Ro60 and TRIM21/Ro52) autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases

1 month 2 weeks ago
CONCLUSIONS: The distinction of anti-TROVE2/Ro60 and anti-TRIM21/Ro52 autoantibodies was frequently unclear and imprecise throughout the literature. Their clinical associations also lacked clarity and precision. To clarify and strengthen the understanding of the clinical associations of these 2 important autoantibodies, the terms anti-TROVE2/Ro60 and anti-TRIM21/Ro52 are recommended for future studies and publications.

Positive body image is a pathway between nature contact and life satisfaction across 58 nations

Alcohol Consumption and Risk of Atrial Fibrillation: A Pairwise and Network Meta-Analysis

1 month 2 weeks ago
CONCLUSIONS: Alcohol consumption is associated with a nonlinear, threshold-dependent relationship with incident AF. While low to moderate intake may not increase AF risk, intake beyond 60 g/day significantly increases the AF risk. These findings may suggest that a more liberal approach to alcohol consumption, particularly at low to moderate levels, could be reasonable in the general population, though further prospective studies are needed to confirm causality and refine individual risk...
